General:
- Not using items “included in the package” will not lead to any discounts on the package price.
- Menu options are available and are interchangeable to accommodate your personal requirements.
- Wedding dates may not be changed after a confirmation booking has been made.
- Client will have exclusive use of the venue for the Wedding.
- Vouchers include in-house service providers only.
- Reception hall is available from 11:00am in the morning until 00:00 in the evening. (On day of your wedding).
- The venue will be ready 2 hours prior to wedding on day of wedding to take photos of the décor.
- No private event coordinator/s or helpers at your wedding will be allowed to edit the program or remove or change any of the wedding décor before and/or during the wedding. This can only be done by Bride & Groom per direct instruction to your in- house coordinator.
- We allow up to 6 guests to attend your 2nd appointment for the “show table” viewing. More than 6 guests attending will be an additional R150 p/p. Show table is by appointment only.
- DJ plays until 00:00.
- Extra décor & props must be removed by 09:30am the following day.
- Children between 1-4 are free. Between 5 & 12 will be charged at R350.00 per child. 13 Years and older will be counted as Adults.
- Children must be accompanied by parental supervision at all times and not be allowed to damage any venue property, including gardens, plants and fish ponds and water features.
- Children will not be permitted to move around the venue without parental supervision.
- We do not allow take-away boxes and or any form of take-away of food on the night of the wedding by any individual.
Payment:
- A Non-Refundable Booking Fee will be payable upon this confirmation of agreement. It is non-refundable. This booking fee forms part of the final invoice amount.

- NO post-dated cheques will be accepted. We will not accept any form of booking or confirm any dates or reserve any dates without the booking fee and signed booking agreement.
- The proof of payment and FULL signed & initialed contract must be emailed to bellsandbrides1@yahoo.com for your wedding to be confirmed.
- NO REFUND of any monies will be payable by Bells & Brides, the venue, its agents or representatives if your wedding is cancelled.
- By payment of your booking fee you agree and accept this Agreement and the Procedures, Terms and Conditions set out herein.
- EFT payments are preferred. Cash payments directly into our account at any ATM or Teller will cause additional bank charges to your final invoice.
- A R3 000.00 refundable breakage deposit is payable 30 days prior to the event. Such deposit will be refunded within 15 working days from event should no loss, damage or theft have taken place of the venue's property.
- 50% of your Invoiced amount should be paid 60 days Prior to your wedding date.
- The outstanding balance and any extras must be paid in full 30 days prior to your wedding date. No wedding services will commence if full payment has not been received.
- Bells & Brides, its owners, employees and agents may cancel this agreement on any breach of our rules and/or regulations or if we at our reasonable discretion find that the general behaviour of the Clients/ client's representative's or any guests party related to the wedding is unacceptable.
- The acceptance of any payment from a Client in default will not release such a Client from any other obligations under the agreement. The Client is liable to us for full payment of the invoice of this agreement 30 days prior to arrival and/or wedding date. No service will be rendered unless the full amount has been paid as agreed between the parties. No refunds will be paid after invoice amount has been received. If you pay the invoice amount prior to the 30 days prior to the wedding date such payment will be seen as your acknowledgement of final guests. After such a payment, guests count cannot be decreased, however you will be allowed to increase your guest amount as long it is done 30 days prior to your wedding date.
Cancellation:
- Should the Client cancel this agreement the following cancellation fees will be applicable:

- The cancellation fee as set out in the above table will be calculated on the estimated guests booked for in this agreement and must be paid within 10 (ten) working days after cancellation. The client is liable for any additional cost incurred by the venue. If you pay any amounts in advance for your wedding to the venue you will not be entitled to any refund of such funds upon cancellation of your wedding.
Valuables & Personal Property:
- The service providers or the venue will not be responsible for any loss, theft or damage to personal property of the client.
Damages:
- The client will be held responsible for any loss, theft or damage to the venue's property during the program. The amount is payable within 10 (ten) working days of written notification of the loss, theft or damage if such loss, theft or damage cannot be fully retrieved from the breakage deposit.
Other:
- Menu's must be finalized 30 days prior to function date.
- Final guest numbers are required 30 days prior to the function and will be charged accordingly.
- No refunds for any guests cancelling after final numbers has been confirmed and paid or any amounts exchanged for other or extra décor or flowers and so forth.
- Should there be loss or damages to overlays, table cloths, chair covers tie backs, cutlery crockery and/or any other items and/or property of the venue a charge will be deducted from the deposit, make sure that we have your correct banking details to pay the deposit into your account.
- Should there be loss or damages to overlays, table cloths, chair covers tie backs, cutlery crockery and/or any other items and/or property of the venue and the damage and/or loss exceed the breakage deposit amount you will be charged and invoiced accordingly and full and final payment must be made within 10 days of date of invoice.
- As accommodation is provided all items and/or bedding pertaining the such accommodation remains the sole responsibility of the bride and groom. These items include bedding, towels, cutlery, crockery, décor and any other property and/or items involved thereto. Damages and losses of any property and items will be invoiced to the bride & groom.
- Bells & Brides, its owners, the venue, its employees and/or agents cannot take responsibility for any function booked outdoors due to any weather conditions making it not possible to carry out the function.
- Bells & Brides, its owners, the venue, its employees and/or agents shall not be held liable for any occurrence of natural origin, which causes an interruption of services, including electricity, water and sanitary services at the venue.
- Bells & Brides, its owners, the venue, its employees or any other person employed at any function will not be held liable for loss or injury to persons due to negligence or any other causes whatsoever.
- The client is responsible for the guest seating plans and place names and any additional items they wish to add to tables not listed in the original package.
- Bells & Brides, its owners, the venue, its employees and/or agents is not liable for damage and loss to any property whatsoever.
- Bells & Brides its owners, the venue, its employees and/or agents reserved the right to cancel any booking forthwith and without liability on its part in the event of any damages to or destruction of the venue by force fire or other cause whatsoever beyond our control.
- The Participant acknowledges that during all times while he or she is attending the recreational activity, he/she does so at his/her own risk and that the Participant and other people in the care and control of the Participant will not hold the Provider or any of its employees or agents liable for any personal injury or breach of contract whether caused by the negligence of the Provider, its employees or agents howsoever caused or otherwise.
- Anyone entering these premises, including rounds and using facilities whatsoever, does entirely at his/her own risk. Bells & Brides, its owners, employees and/or agents, its directors, officers, employees and everyone else connected therewith shall have no liability whatsoever for any injury to, or death of any person, or any loss of, or change to any property caused even arising from negligence of any degree.
- The venue is available to the guests from 14:00pm on the day of the wedding. The bridal suite from 10:00am to 09:00am the following day for bride. Venue must be vacated by 10:00am day after the wedding.
